BitAxe Gamma
Bitcoin Appliances
The BitAxe Gamma (Model 601/602) is the fourth major hardware revision of the open-source BitAxe project, launched in August 2024. Using a single Bitmain BM1370 ASIC — the same chip in the industrial Antminer S21 Pro — it delivers approximately 1.2 TH/s at only 15-18W, making it the most efficient single-chip open-source Bitcoin miner available. It runs AxeOS firmware, supports WiFi solo mining, and has achieved confirmed solo block wins in July 2024 and March 2025.
