Fedimint
Bitcoin Nodes
Fedimint is an open-source protocol for federated custody of Bitcoin using Chaumian e-cash mints built on top of the Lightning Network. Rather than trusting a single custodian, users trust a federation of multiple independent guardians — typically friends, family, or community members — where a threshold of guardians must collude to steal funds. Fedimint enables privacy-preserving Bitcoin transactions and is designed as an alternative to single-custody Lightning wallets for community-scale deployments.
