Greenlight is a managed Lightning node service by Blockstream that allows users to run a Core Lightning (CLN) node in the cloud while retaining self-custody of their keys. Unlike traditional managed node services, Greenlight's architecture keeps private keys on the user's device — the cloud infrastructure handles connectivity and storage while the user's device signs transactions. This provides the convenience of a hosted node with the security of self-custody.
