Nix-Bitcoin is a collection of NixOS modules for deploying Bitcoin nodes and Lightning nodes with a security-first design philosophy. Built for the NixOS operating system, it enforces minimal attack surface through strict process isolation, mandatory Tor routing, and privilege separation. Nix-Bitcoin is the gold standard for privacy-conscious node operators who want maximum auditability and reproducibility in their Bitcoin infrastructure.
