Nodl Onyx
Bitcoin Nodes
The Nodl Onyx is the fifth-generation hardware node from Nodl, announced November 2025, featuring 12 ARM cores, 32 GB RAM, and 4 TB of redundant NVMe storage — claimed to be 30x faster than the previous generation. The software stack has been completely rewritten with a modular architecture that separates the GUI from the backend, allowing UI updates without touching node-critical code. Unlike most plug-and-play nodes, the Onyx performs its Initial Block Download from scratch rather than shipping with a pre-synced chain, eliminating a trust assumption. Founders Edition pre-orders ship Summer 2026.
