HTX (formerly Huobi) is one of the world's oldest and largest cryptocurrency exchanges, founded in 2013 in Beijing. Rebranded from Huobi to HTX in September 2023, the exchange is majority-owned by Justin Sun (founder of TRON) following his acquisition in 2022. HTX serves tens of millions of users globally and offers a full suite of trading products including spot, futures, and options on Bitcoin. The exchange relocated its global operations to multiple jurisdictions following China's 2021 crypto ban.
