The ChinaAMC Bitcoin ETF (ticker: 3042.HK) was the first major Chinese asset manager's spot Bitcoin ETF, launched on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on April 30, 2024 — making it one of Asia's first spot Bitcoin ETFs. Managed by China Asset Management (HK), it was the largest of the Hong Kong Bitcoin ETFs at launch with approximately US$121.7 million in AUM on day one. The fund supports both cash and in-kind (BTC) subscriptions and redemptions, a feature unique to Hong Kong's regulatory framework.
