Matt Corallo is one of the most prolific Bitcoin Core developers, having contributed to Bitcoin since 2011. He co-founded Blockstream alongside Adam Back and others, created the Bitcoin relay network, and authored BIP 152 (Compact Block Relay), which dramatically reduced block propagation time across the network. He now works at Spiral (a Square/Block company) on rust-bitcoin and other open-source Bitcoin infrastructure. Corallo is known for his principled stance on Bitcoin's decentralization and security properties.
