Passport Prime is Foundation Devices' next-generation personal security platform announced in December 2024, combining a Bitcoin-only hardware wallet with a 2FA authenticator, virtual YubiKey, and encrypted data vault in a credit-card-sized device. It runs KeyOS, a custom Rust-based microkernel operating system, and uses NFC plus Foundation's encrypted QuantumLink Bluetooth protocol. The device supports 2-of-3 Shamir Secret Sharing for seed backup and is open to third-party apps, with Cake Wallet confirmed as the first integration. Priced at $299 with shipping expected in 2026.
