Trezor Model One
Cold Storage
The Trezor Model One was the world's first Bitcoin hardware wallet, launched in 2014 by SatoshiLabs, and established the template for the hardware wallet industry. Though officially discontinued in 2023 in favor of newer models, it remains historically significant as the device that proved the viability of dedicated offline key storage for consumer Bitcoin users. The Model One featured a small OLED display, two physical buttons, open-source firmware, and USB connectivity, with support for Bitcoin and hundreds of other cryptocurrencies.
