Samourai Wallet
Wallets
Samourai Wallet was a privacy-focused, open-source Bitcoin wallet for Android that pioneered on-chain mixing tools including Whirlpool (CoinJoin), Ricochet, and Stonewall. In April 2024, the founders were arrested by US authorities and charged with money laundering conspiracy; the app was removed from stores and the backend servers shut down. The open-source code remains available on GitHub, and the community forked it into SENTINEL and other projects.
