Block Earner Bitcoin-Backed Home Loan
Bitcoin Mortgages
Block Earner launched Australia's first Bitcoin-backed home loan in July 2025 following a Federal Court ruling that its crypto lending products are not classified as financial products under Australian law. The product provides a Bitcoin-collateralized deposit loan covering up to 50% of a property's purchase price at 60% LVR, with the remainder financed by a traditional mortgage lender — enabling buyers to enter the property market without selling their Bitcoin. The loan is interest-only for up to four years, with Bitcoin held in institutional-grade custody via Fireblocks.
